when you end The Hobbit, i'd examine the Lord of the earrings trilogy: The Fellowship of the hoop, both Towers, and The go back of the King. i'd examine The Silmarillion after that- it is Tolkien's "creation" tale, and not in any respect quintessential to any of the books, yet a supplement to them. Any of a few thing of his books are from a similar global- center Earth- yet don't have a similar characters as Tolkien's maximum nicely-accepted books. for my area, those would nicely be examine in any order.

Definitely, and it's a very hard hobbit to break. If you're not careful, you'll get so badly hooked that you'll end up in a re"hob"ilitation program. Often, re"hob" leads to "Fellowship" with other addicts, and that can be a very good thing. Might make you feel like climbing a "Tower" or two, and if you do, then you'll "Return" to being your old self again.

Well, as much as I love his works, I have yet to form a hobbit.

I was duly warned about the possibility, thus I always avoid his writings. Quite frankly, the last thing I need is to look like a hobbit now.

Definitely but it's not a hobbit I'd want to give up.

Cute. It seemed to work on me...I didn't grow any more after I first read The Fellowship of the Ring.

A-pun my word! Good question. Well, after I read it, I had to put all my clothes in the dryer on high for three days....

lets hear it for Frodo the ringer.
Tough at mount doom he did linger.
As the Dark Lords power,
Grew by the hour,
he turned and gave Gollum the finger.
