The currency rate tends to fluctuate, but currently one US Dollar is equal to 10.876 Pesos. As a general rule of thumb just assume its 10:1 (10 pesos for each dollar).

Around 11 per usd, currency is fluctuating, can be 10.70 or 11.10

Don't change all your money in one single place, since rates may be very different from one place to another

Very different, may be up to like $0.30 cents of mexican peso!!

There are different types of rates, of course.

But TODAY, you could have received AROUND $10.75 Mexican pesos on average from "casas de cambio" (currency exchange businesess) at Mexico City's International airport. That was approximately the BUYING (bid) rate at "multiservicios" (small currency exchange businesess) around my town today, too.
