That depends on your problem. Obviously having someone with a tight-and-fast spiral throw to you 500 times a day(hard); or purchasing/using a JUGS machine(very expensive) would quickly make your hands respectable.

Repitition is #1. So nothing can beat the action of catching a spiraled football over and over; but there are things you can do.

For one, get a ball. A bouncy ball costs about 50 cents, and keep in on you at all times. Throw it up in the air(high as reasonably possible) and catch it. Do it while watching TV, walking to a destination, in a car, ect. keep your eye on it, and catch it. This will help your hand-eye coordination. I have depth perception problems; but a few months of this made me a *decent* catcher.

Those hand exercisers cost about 20 bucks, but they work. Hand strength(and size - but we cant change that) is key to making tough catches. My grandfather used hand-exercisers ALL THE TIME, and he could beat people literally twice his size in arm wrestling well into his 50's. Hand strength is the 2nd most important aspect to catching passes - right behind the hand-eye-coordination.

Last but not least, always remember - catch the ball with your hands, never the body, try to extend them in every catch, and just be confident. Doubting leads to drops. Hope my suggestions help, if even a little bit.

Do what other great wide receivers do-you can read about their tricks of the trade via googling etc. One great receiver (Jerry Rice? or someone else) practices bouncing a football up against a wall and catching it. It bounces back at all angles.

Practicing tipping the ball-cornerbacks + wide receivers practice this all the time. Pop the ball up into the air and keep tipping it back up as many times as possible (if indoors don't run into the furniture!)

Eat, sleep and think wide receiver; eventually thru following what other receivers do, you will improve your game. Get a mentor; either an older wide receiver or a coach.

Finally, watch the ball come into your hands. Don't think about running, the defense or anything else till you eye the ball right into your hands (don't take your eyes off the ball.)

Remember Walter Payton-he used to practice running up and down hills. Up and down, up and down, etc. You are going to need durability to take hard hits. Same for weight lifting, nutrition, sleep, etc.

One last thing-attitude. Stay motivated, go the extra mile, smile and try again. Be positive when you want to cry. Stay away from negative players. Don't blow your chances via too much socializing, drugs or having a bad attitude. Beat the competition by willpower.

Good luck!! I played some. Nothing like burning everyone for a touchdown early in the game and then getting double teamed the rest of the game!

First of all, I would probably do what you said you would do. Bring back London and Moore, but also bring back Super Crazy, as well. I would love to see a highflying ECW, but I would also have Tommy Dreamer as the ECW Champion. That would definitely help out, and maybe have him want to bring back "ECW, the way it was" and it would be awesome. I would give about a half an hour more of a runtime, and add in more matches, and highlight more talent, and have some of the new stars main event the show. I would put in more "Extreme Matches", and have about 2 on each show. Add in a good Elimination Tables match between Hardy/Dreamer v.s. Miz/Morrison. I would do something like that. If I was ECW's head writer, I would do a lot for the brand.

Drop your arms to your sides with your palms facing in. Have someone stand just a few feet in front of you holding a ball. Have them randomly toss the ball right at your chest, by randomly I mean as if you are having a conversation and they suddenly throw the ball at you. Do not react with any part of your body except your hands and do not move them at all until you see the ball coming. This is a great way to practice catching with your hands while you are killing time. Oh yea they don't have to try to kill you with it.

you will have to practice alot. Just playing catch with a friend is the best way. But there is technique. make a diamond with your two fingers and thumbs and spread your other fingers out. wait for the ball and put it in the hole. works everytime.
