For me it's C. I scringe when I wash my cuts in the shower..... Feel like cursing.....but eh. I once had a HUGE cut but I didn't use alcohol. I once tried to peel the band-aid off and I wanted to cry...It was painful as hell....

Washing with Soap & water will STOP the stinging that Water cause when you get in the tub/shower.
1st few seconds are Hellll though.

Water on a Fresh Wound kills the Tissue which needs to be "alive" to begin to heal.

Listen to the ladies who say use PEROXIDE instead
of Alcohol.

To Remove a bandaid,,Pour Alcohol on the bandage,,
AFTER soaking it in water.
The Water releases the scab from the bandage,
The Alcohol releases the glue from the good skin.

Put some Neosporin or Antibiotic Ointment on
the bandaid's Pad before applying it.

Even small cuts & scratches can become
very seriously infected without proper care.

Be CAREFUL!!:)

Peroxide only washes out the impurities to clean the wound. Alcohol kills any infection that may be in there. If your foot is swelling without discoloration, raise your foot and use ice to reduce the swelling and be sure to cover your wound to protect it from further infection. An antibiotic cream will help it heal quicker. If the swelling is also accompanied by discoloration, you should let a doctor look at it to prevent serious complications. Hope that helps!

Make sure the cut is clean, rinse it off and then apply pressure to the wound. If it is a gaping cut, it may require stitches. Then go to the ER.

the best thing to do is clean it out with peroxide and then put antibiotic ointment on it. try not to use band aids unless it's bleeding real bad. airing it out will help it heal faster.

at least a antiseptic should be applied to a open wound and depending on the object that caused the injury,a tetanus injection.
