THE BEATLES WERE'NT ROCK. My god, what is wrong with all you people. The beatles sang pop music, they recorded a few songs that came close to rock, but they were not a rock band.
THE GREATEST ROCK BAND EVER WAS THE WHO. They sang rock songs, lived the rock lifestyle, and played rock music. Keith Moon Invented the Rockstar lifestyle, the whole band smashed their instruments on stage on numerous occasions. The beatles were but a humble boy band compared to these guys. And no, i don't hate the beatles, i just don't classify them as rock.
Roger Daltrey had the greatest rock voice of all time.

And The Killers or Razorlight are the best bands out there at the moment.
