By words I mean to diss them or say something smart that they will never understand.

depends on the situation. if it was in front of a lot of people and they made me REALLY look bad, i would make the ACTUALLY look bad by pummeling their face in. but if they just insulted you very bad, insult them back. and then let them know if they keep it up there will be hell to pay.

I would do what ever you could do to solve the problem before you use physical force..My son was going threw something in school with a few kids in Jr high he was getting insulted and like you I emphasize insulted..He came home every night and said he was going to punch them out.We tried everything first to solve the problem including going up to the school I dont know how many times.Anyway at the end my son was in lunch and the one boy tried punching him, before he even had a chance to touch my son my son punched him in the face and gave him a fat lip and nose.The school never did a thing since they knew he tried everything first and they knew what these kids were up to...

I use words! Oh, hell yeah... that always gets them... I confuse the heck out of them, use reverse psychology, ask them questions that'll make them feel stupid...
I'm a nice girl and all, but when somebody takes it too far, I just don't like it... I'll do anything in my power to vent my frustration and just show the person to not mess with me.
I can't fight physically at all so my weapon is words... I can be really mean and vicious when I want to be so...

Walking away will only make them think of you as a coward.
If you use your fists, the hurt goes away in a short while.
If you use lethal words, they stay forever!

Walk away if you can. Words are ok but if you use fists you go to jail not them

I always just use words. I've never been insulted bad enough that I couldn't come up with something to either top it or make them look silly.

I'd rather use words. It's more difficult and satisfying to give someone a super-burn than it is to smack them. Although, sometimes it's fun to do both. Some people just have it coming.

Words if they insult me. If they insult my wife or son, I get serious real quick.
