For some reason the term seems really eerie and morbid to me.

Yeah I can see where you would think that because it strips us down to the bare bones (well sorta...LOL flesh and bones that is) without taking the soul or life force that inhabits the body into consideration. We are much more than a machine so I guess it is all in how you look at it. When the soul or life force leaves the body then it is what you have left over.

No... it's not morbid... the human body fascinates me... I've found out a lot about the human body in Allied Health... it's a great alternative to cutting up the body! Just kidding...
The human body is in a way a machine, and it isn't like steel, so I see where you're coming from... also, you can brain wash humans and turn them into machines.. .that's where the bad part comes in...

no, but my body is more of a hard machine. i'm ripped, Robin on the other hand could benefit from some weightlifting
