I am confused by the format of your question.
It looks like you are asking which is worse, woman who leave the seat down, or men who leave the seat down?
If that is what you mean then I must assume they are both as good as each other, as they both leave it down.
But if the man stands up to go to the toilet, yet still leaves the seat down, he is slightly better, because he is considering the females who use the toilet.
In my experience men tend to leave the seat up, women tend to leave the seat down, and a good 40% of females, leave the lid up.
The ones who leave the seat and lid down, get my vote.
YDoncha_Blowme is wrong when he states all men stand to urinate. As children, all children are taught to sit on the potty, some men don't like the risk of missing, and choose to carry on sitting.
It is really men who have a fear of doing it the female way, who insist on standing.

Men for leaving the seat up and women who leave the lid up. Mind you, if public toilets are anything to go by, a surprising number of women seem to pee on the seat anyway.

The majority of uses for the toilet require the seat be down i.e, urination for women, children & some men,and of course bowel movements. It is also just unsanitary and unsightly to leave the seat up...so enough already, the seat stays down ; p

Men are worse for leaving it up. The seat and cover should be put down before flushing to prevent bacteria laden aerosol particles being ejected.

You mean men for leaving it up??
Obviously, the problem here is women.... We guys have gotten used to the fact that you use the toilet with the seat down - this is why we stop prior to urinating, lift the seat and then do our business. Yet, women fail to realize that all men stand whilst peeing, fall into an open toilet, then blame us guys for leaving the seat up. It is obviously woman's fault - we've adapted enough to lift the seat, why cant they adapt to put it back down???

....i take it you meant "men leaving the seat up"
well,one night i heard a god awful scream coming from my bathroom.i ran to find my wife,knees pressed to chest with her butt stuck all the way down inside the stool.
of course,i could of blamed her for not turning on the light and seeing the seat up but,,,,,i shouldn't of left it up in the first place.

Men who still pee when the seat is down but end up p.issing all over the seat.!! how annoying

The seat AND the lid should always be down when not in use.
It's more sanitary that way. And then everybody has to lift it before using it... whether they are going to stand or sit.

no trouble: this issue is a serious one because women are always arguing with men because of toilet sit, but the truth is, is not about hygiene. to be precise this people who make the toilet sit an issue are psychophs. there is lot of nasty things in the loo than the urine, so forget about it.

i think what is worse is men leaving the seat up, they aren't always accurate if you know what i mean and i do not want to touch it
