I sent a manuscript to a company only to find out it was a scam. Are there any real publishers online. What are your sources?

Real Publishers are not aware of this site. Purchase a copy of The Writer's Market. It lists publishers. Read the submission guidelines outlined for each publisher. You can purchase Writer's Market at Barnes & Noble, Borders Books, Amazon.com, or any large bookseller.
