I think it depends on where you go in Canada. My sister went there for a week and she came back saying "eh" it was very funny! (Red Deer Canada)

I don't usually hear people say 'eh'. So I really don't know whether Canadians say 'eh' a lot.

I met my first Canadian the other day.
She said she liked my make-up, I don't think I heard her say 'eh'.
I have no idea what she was doing in the Butthole of England!?!

lol I say it all the time..... but unlike what most people claim...I don't say it in the end of a sentence...it usually in the beginning ...as .. " eh did you see the game last night?"
I am a proud Canadian ( Toronto - Ontario)

LOL. I live in Toronto and I hear it all the time, but only by native born Canadians. Immigrants don't say it as much. I used to say it but had to make a concious effort to stop.
