Leo's are LEADERS and people that have tons of creativity. We are awesome lovers and crave attention. We desire to be loved, and will usually have multiple lovers. like a double life......... we are the RULERS of the SUN.... SMART and most LEO'S are beautiful.... women usually have lots of thick hair like a lion... we love control....

im a leo as well.
leos are not low maintenance people. they are in constant need of attention. want to be praised, want to feel they are the best, etc. they have big egos, and are a bit haughty.
they are generous and kind until they arent given the attention they need.
to answer your question, are they the best?
all signs have their advantages and disadvantages. the leo is a great sign, but i dont believe that any sign is the best and there are too many other factors that relate to a persons destiny, (astrological and otherwise) character, and the like, to make such a judgement.

I'm a Sagittarius and I love my sign very much. I wouldn't change it for any other sign. I do get along with leos very well, and tend to like them.

I'm a Taurus and I think all signs are pretty cool but you also have to look at their personalities and the certain things that they are good at and who they are compatible with. If you're looking for outgoing signs then the top two I would have to say would be Leo and Taurus. It really depends on how you look at it and the personalities you're looking for in another person.
