Although I don't know where you're traveling FROM, if you're in the US, the cheapest would be by bus, but I wouldn't recommend that mode of travel to my worst enemy. Amtrak is great! I am an over the road truck driver, and I can tell you when I go on vacation, I love to ride the train! It's rather inexpensive, there is a dining car and club car, and you'll get there much quicker.

If you already live in Alabama why do you want to know how much it costs to get there? And it should be close, if you are already there!

Since I do not know where you are going, I have difficulty estimating how much it could cost to get there.
