Does reading before bed allow you to remember what you read better, or is this just a myth?

I think it might be a myth too ... however, I do most of my reading in bed & generally remember what I've read .... but my cousin cannot read in bed at all as it sends her straight to sleep!

So who knows! lol

it just helps you relax to go to bed but when its night time and youre reading you might not remember the hole thing cause youre sleepy and trying to be awake
