Go up the main staircase, then the spiral staircase to the left. You should be in Oddenstein's room. Nearby is Ernest the Chicken.

Go up the stairs, then go to the left and there should be a twirly staircase. Go up there, and you should be in a room near a scientist's room/lab. Talk to him.
