The sum of the angles of a rectangle is always 360 degrees. Four angles of 90 degrees each; you will always get 360 anyway you add them up.

Reminds me of 360 degrees in a circle. Full circle.

For every regular polygon, the enclosed angles add to 180 x the number of sides, less two. Or Anglesum = 180 x (#S - 2).
So, for a triangle, it is 180 deg. For a rectangle or other quadrilateral, it is 360 deg. 540 deg for a pentagon, etc.

A true triangle is 45 degrees in each corner, so with 3 corners, the total is 3 x 45 equals 135 degrees total.
