I don't think so but if there is i wouldn't recommend it anyway. You need to be really care full about putting things in your body that are going to stop one of the most natural functions of your body.

Almost everybody has advosed against it. Heed their advices. I do not understand how your driving down to California or for that matter to the end of the world can in any way be thrown out of schedule by the period with all the modern facilities around. Please do not repeat not indulge into disturbing what is after all a natural process. Sometime this violent disturbance with these body cycles may have some unforeseen effects which will keep company throughout life.

How about postponing the drive down to menopause?

No, there's not. Those pills that say you can have a lesser period are very bad for your health. You're period will ruin lots of things..it's just a matter of fact. And it's gonna be very irregular for a while so you can't really plan around it..good luck

my gf like to do stuff with me in the shower while she's on her period because she says it shortens hers by a day... dunno how much you're looking to shorten it, a day isn't much.
