Impeachment means that the issue goes to the senate. The senate then needs a 2/3 majority to throw the president out of office.

The House did indeed impeach Bill Clinton, but the Senate voted against a trial, which would have been presided over by the Chief Justice of the US should it have gone forward. Just for the record I am glad they did not go forward with it either. In GW's case, Congress won't seek impeachment at all. Why tie up the Congress' time with an impeachment mess? The Democrats can now temper GW's dictatorship to the betterment of us all. I want them to attend to the war, the economy and terrorism, not revenge.

Clinton was impeached but not convicted. A better question is: "Why initiate impeachment proceedings when htere is no evidence that an impeachable offense has been committed?" I'll leave that 1 for Libs to answer.

so the truth can be made available to the public,, an investigation would take at least two years even if the Democrats spent 50 million dollars of taxpayers money to expose George W. like the Republicans did to play peek-a-boo with Clinton

Clinton was cleared and not impeached. It would be justice if GWB is impeached.

You can't impeach unless a President does something illegal. (Which he has not!!!)
Clinton is a sad excuse for a President.

Clinton got lots of votes from men who were sexually attracted to him. (These men were straight, but there was sexual attraction there.)
And from women, too.
It seems like sex enters into everything.
