Hi, I am thinking of going back to school for pharmacist. but my background is in art marjor, which has nothing to do with science, and also I am now 30 years old, can I have hope to get in the pharmacy program?
Please any suggestion would help.

If you have all the prereqs, a good GPA, and a good PCAT score, sure, you might be accepted.

not just no, but hell no - you're going to need to take ALL of the chemistry and ALL of the math (all the way up to calc) and biochemistry... that means that you'll have at least 2 years of prerequisites before you can even think about applying -

you can look at any college of pharm and they'll all tell you the same thing...

why? because pharmacy is not playtime, 4 yr degree - it is a doctorate and it means that you are basically becoming a biochemistry scientist

I actually don't really want to discourage you because you might have an aptitude for that stuff and do really well - try a few of the prerequisites and you'll get a better idea of what you want to do

no, you need an applicable background which is not art. check out the website for the program of whichever school you want
