omg, i'm so sorry.

if i was to do over something, i would choose to beat the **** out of my friend's boyfriend.

he told everyone that i was "in love" with him. He was the ugly as hell, and had a horrible personality and abused my best friend.

& then he started telling lies about my family.

I would changed time to beat the **** out of him and not worry about hurting my friend's feelings because i found out she doesn't care about mine. AT ALL.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. There was no way you could have known what was going to happen the next day, and even if you suspected it, your daughter was an adult and able to make her own decisions. It is not likely that you would have been any more sucessful in convincing her to leave.

But to answer your question, if I could do one thing over, I would have seen a chiropractor after I was injured in Basic Training. If I had done that, my injury would have healed much quicker and I might still be in the Army. I recieved a medical discharge because of my injury, and I cannot find my place in the civillian world. I was much happier in the Army.

So many things that I don't know where to begin.

But I know where to stop.

Right now, before I waste time and emotional energy trying to "what if" myself back in time to change something that has passed.

It's an interesting conundrum of the human mind: we can remember the past but are powerless to change it. At the same time, we have no idea what the future holds, but have infinite possibility to affect anything that might occur. So the point is to remember what you can and learn from it, while at the same time doing your best to make the future what you will.

Those are your choices, and that's all you get.

You did the best you could have at the time. She had free will. She is probably still around you though in a ghost body. One who dies abruptly like that does not leave this world but stays in their subtle body. You should go to your local Hare Krishna Temple and they can help you release her from her miserable condition so she can move on. God Bless
