I have no problems with emos. Music and style are inter-related especially for those in their teens early 20's and emos are just a part of ongoing trends. In the sixties you had the Mods and hippies who most probably did not get along either. I say be who ya wanna be and do what ya wanna do and as long as you are not doing any harm to yourself or other people then have fun!

OMG!!! thank you for asking!!! i have no problem with emos. i acctually like the music. i have no freakin clue why people do that, man. the media obbsessive idiots do that to people. emos, blondes (im blonde and not dumb or ditzy. im a 4.0), punks (im that too), girls (saying they cant play sports or anything), goths, jocks, preps, etc.,etc., i used to be emo and cut myself, but i got over it and grew up

I don't know why the hell they ridicule emo kids. Emo is a genre of music. People always say that they are whiney about losing love, or whatever. HALF OF THE OTHER MUSIC IN DIFFERENT GENRES ARE LIKE THAT TOO!!!!! Just because you're emo does not mean you are gay or you cut yourself. Just like blondes being dumb (im not. im going to be an engineer) We can't stoop to stereotyping people. Thats why we have ******* wars.

i agree its pretty damn gay wat ppl say they r jus trying to get attention and they cut themselves, i listen to tht kind of music but i dont cut my self anymore i used to but emo is not a lifestyle its jus a style of clothing and music genre get over it. i think they are more risky cuz they dont care wat other ppl think adn they tell people their feelings unlike u ghetto homies that dont shed a tear no matter wat grow up! were not in 6th grade anymore, and please learn how to sing i mean jesus rap may be a music genre but it isnt singing or at least i dont think it is and truthfully i dont think it should be classified as a genre of music. sry i got a little bit off topic.
