most of the time a hard bump will not harm the baby. he or she is very well protected in there. if your wife starts to bleed or starts to feel "abnormal" then you should call your doctor, definitely go into a hospital if you have a car accident or a trip or fall where the stomach is hit directly.

I read somewhere that the womb is the best "carseat" you can have, So I think you should be fine. If your wife complains of pains or thinks the baby may be in danger, get her to a doctor.

Don't worry huni, you're wife has a good connexion with your child already, she will be able to tell you if something doesn't feel right. You're right to be concerned but try to relax, if necessary take your wife to the doctors just to be sure but trust your wife's instinct. Everything will be fine and good luck

That baby is protected pretty good in the uterus. If it would of cause any problems for her she would of experience cramping, bleeding etc.
When she is farther along in her pregnancy and much bigger it wouldn't feel to good to hit a bump like that.

Hi there. There shouldn't be any problems to the baby as she is 13 weeks pregnant, however in these cases when she goes for her routine check up please let the gynocologist know about this in order to complicate things further down. Congrats and all the best!

She should be just fine - - there is a lot of padding in there to protect the baby. But if she starts spotting or experiencing a lot of unexplained pains, she should call the doctor immediately just to be safe. CONGRATULATIONS!

She will be fine. I myself was in a car accident when I was 3 months, and my baby was perfectly fine. He is now 6 years old. That is sweet of you to worry but she will be just fine. Best of luck to you and yours.
