No, The DS can play DS and GBA games only.
However if you get a DS lite you can also use an e-reader.

Original Game Boy games don't even fit in the DS.

It can play DS and Game Boy Advance games too. The DS games goes on top, Advance goes in the bottom.

It can play GameBoy Advance games, but it does not play games from the original GameBoy or GameBoy color.
