Will my social security card work?

I lost my ss card a while back but my grandma informed me that she had an extra. It has the SAME number the only problem is that when I was born I had a diff. last name and about a year later I got my dads last name. To sum it uo its my number but my old last name will it work for like getting jobs and stuff?

Names must match for security and federal information verification. Just go down and get a duplicate. No big deal!
