I was walking my dog in the park. I was walking on a small bridge that crosses a stream and saw something in the corner of my eye on my left, at a glance it looked like someone was standing in the stream staring at me.
I looked closer at it... a woman had hung herself over the side of the bridge. She dangled with her eyes still open, her feet only two feet from the ground and stream.
The paramedics arrived after what seemed like hours, and attempted to revive her, unsucessfully. My parents went back there a few weeks later, her family had inscribed something on the rail of the wood bridge, "Love lasts forever."

When I was a kid I was walking on a dam and slipped and I was just hanging by one arm and I yelled for help and luckily a friend came and pulled me back up!

Being held up at a bank -- I was walking by another persons cage when the gunman came in, pointed the gun at me and demanded me to open the drawers. Of course they were locked, she was out to lunch. If I could have pulled it open, I would have. He then got mad and shot at my manager, thank God, he missed. He then told us to all sit down with our backs to him. I sat down and looked at him -- that SOB was not going to shoot me in the back. He left and was caught just minutes afterwards. Stupid idiot!

coming down from a good drunk and barely remembering yet realizing i'd almost blewn someone's brains out with a handgun. now thats scary!

hanging off a tree.....i almost fell to my doom. lol that and i was like 2 inches away from being hit by a car! twice

I died 3 times, but keep coming back. Dying doesn't scare me it's the comin back that freaks me out.

i've nearly drown in a public pool i went to a deep part luckily a kid pulled me up if it wasn't from him i'd be dead then...thank god for the kid i was so scared and shaking like anything...will never forget that

I hit a Deer recently and spun out and almost went off a cliff. My knees were so weak I barely stood up.

WAS TWO YEARS AGO I HAD A SLED ACCIDENT I HIT A TREE AND THE TREE WENT BETWEEN MY LEGS. I ALMOST DIED. ITS THE WORST MEMORY FOR ME TO EVEN TALK ABOUT IT.
