I have just recieved this cell phone from my brother whom is incarserated at the time. Once i first go to turn on the phone it asks for a code. a four digit pass code that it ask me for that I dont know.

He must have put a lock code on the phone. Try the last four numbers of the phone number that was on that phone when he was using it.
