Liverpool probably the best overall.Tottenham can be great too, especially for mid-week cup/european games!
of the smaller clubs portsmouth and reading very good.
worst have to be old trafford considering the size of the place and the fact that Alex Ferguson has to keep moaning at his own fans for not singing enough(i've never known any other manager who has had to do that!)And perhaps the Man U fans should make up their own song instead of continually using a Tottenham song!
Also Chelsea is a terrible atmos.Wigan fans need to start getting behind there team as well, their crowds are embarrassingly small for a club that has done so well over the last couple of years!

I have been to all of the premiership football grounds. The best atmosphere is at the Valley, next is the JJB, the worst is the new Arsenal Emirates Stadium but this is highly likely to change for the better in the future.
The atmosphere can be good at all the grounds but many fans will only say that their teams ground is the best. Best thing to do is to go to all the grounds yourself and make your own mind up.

Stoke fan here,so i dont get to go premiership grounds, lol.from what i see on sky id say West ham or Portsmouth have the best atmoshphere, and Bolton or Boro the worst. But 1 of the worst im not proud to say this but Stokes Britannia stadium must have 1 of the worst atmospheres in the country, when at the old victoria ground it was like having 12 players on the pitch with the atmosphere,a lot of these new grounds just arent the same as the old ones, and its not the same sitting down as standing up.if you have sky checkout espn classic on the sports chanells they have football from the 70s and 80s thats when it was a sport and not a business as it is today. The players of today dont know how lucky they are.

The best atmosphere is without no doubt Anfield. The opposition is often intimidated by the crowd, and that's why Liverpool have scored a lot of points at home. It's cause the others are too afraid to play. However, the worst atmosphere must be at St James Park, Newcastle. Seems that there is no passion from the fans.

Personally The four teams that spring to mind when you say "good" atmosphere are:
. Portsmouth
. West Ham
. Aston Villa
. Bolton
There are not many "bad" atmosphere grounds but the two that also spring to mind are:
. Fulham
. Charlton

Upton Park (the boleyn) west ham's ground has a great atmosphere and great fans
Anfield liverpool's ground also has a great atmosphere and great fans.
Highbury used to be apsolutly awful - many fans used to call it The libary. But since they have moved into their new satdium it has become slightly better. I say only slightly
