I dont know who sings it or what its called. They sound similar to coldplay. In the chorus the main words are "cant fight this feeling" or very close to that. Electric guitars and drums play just before the chorus. I know this is a long shot. The song is quite recent

There is a song similar to that by REO Speedwagon. Chorus goes something like I can't fight this feeling anymore, wonder what I started fighting for. Bring the ship into the shore so on and so on can't remember the exact words. Not sure if this is what you are looking for but hope it helps

I doubt that it's the REO speedwagon song, they don't sound anything like Coldplay.
Radiohead sounds a lot like Coldplay, and Thom Yorke (RAdiohead's lead singer) came out with a new album lately. You could try looking into that.
