If you have seen the borat movie, do you think all the contraversy encircling the movie is blown out of proportion or is needed?

the movie was friggen funny. the whole point of the movie was to create contraversy. they are just making a big joke out of it. they just made a simple movie and proved to everyone in the world that a simple little movie can ruffle so many feathers. people just need to leanr how to laugh at themsleves.

it blurs reality and fiction. It's hard to tell what's completely staged, what's genuine, what is funny even if people are doing it for the money.

When Kazhakastan (w/e) took out that huge ad in the paper denouncing Borat's putative representation... that was so genius to stage a press conference in DC and denounce the ad as Uzbeki propaganda... haha.
