I bought a little curiosity kit of clay bead jewelry, no directions, do I bake the beads after I make them?

Was it Sculpey clay? If so, bake it in the over at 225 15 minutes for every 1/4 inch of thickness.

They are different types of clays though so let us know which brand/kind.
