Slove the equation for y.

its:

2 - y / 6 = 8x
6 (2 - y / 6 = 8x)
2- y = 48x
- y = 48x - 2
-1 (- y = 48x - 2)

y = - 48x + 2

2-y/6 = 8x

-y/6 = 8x - 2

y/6 = -8x +2

y = -48x +12

or y = 12-48x

simplify: y = 3 - 12x
