Nice dress pants, belt, dress shoes, buttoned shirt and tie. Clean, polished and professional. You want to look good, and for a Massage Therapy job interview, you would want to appear (and be) completely professional and have the ability to make other people feel good and at ease. Part of making other people feel good is looking good yourself! You also want to make a good first impression. Even if you feel slightly overdressed, it will make a good impression that you took the interview process seriously.

Conseravtive is the key. Black suit, black shoes, crisp white french cuff dress shirt with collar stays and a diagonal medium stripe red or blue tie. Look up knots for ties and experiment on which ones work with your neck size, body type, suit cut, and shirt. Cuff links and belt metal should match... silver and silver or gold and gold. You can get away from S&K or similar men's store for $200-300 dollars.... they can advise you a bit as well.
Obviously, no piercings, visible tattoos, or facial hair. Shave the morning of your interview, or late at night if you cannot sleep the night before. Get a conservative haircut and ensure that your hair color is a natural tone (preferably your natural hair color). For men, a nice crew cut generally works. Sideburns should not extend beyond the crack in the earlobe. If your hair is longer and straight, you should jsut go ahead and comb that to the side (sucks I know). If you use a product on your hair, go light-medium on it..... don't get out of control. Lasty, and this is gross, make sure to check that ear and nose hair.
You really have to be critical of yourself when putting the package together. If you and your competition are all LMTs, then the appearance is going to separate the good from the bad. Don't be afraid to invest the money in the black suit.... it will come in handy.

Smart, to me, means wearing either a polo shirt (not the name brand, just a knit shirt with a collar and three buttons) or a nice button down dress shirt. Khaki pants (They are pretty much a buinsess standard). And brown leather shoes.
You don't have to go expensive with this stuff, either. I buy my polo shirts at Walmart for less than ten dollars. The khaki parts are going to set you back about 15 to 20 dollars. And the shoes can be anywhere from 15 dollars up (I never spend more than 25 dollars on work shoes)
Good luck.
