If you are going to dye your hair, go to a professional. I had my hair done professionally and the doctor said that it was fine. If you tell the hairdresser that you are pregnant they will use a certain chemical and not get too close to your head/face.

An old wife's tale says that a woman shouldn't dye her hair when pregnant, for that matter there's an old wife's tale that says 'women should not wash during their period, lest it send them mad"!?!

There's little to no evidence suggesting that dyeing your hair when pregnant will harm your child.

However, as changes in hormones can cause temporary or even permanent allergies, then you should ensure you do a complete strand test before applying a whole head of dye.

no! they shoud not dye, lighting, bleach or anything like that while
they are pregnant.the smell from all the chemicals are not good
to breath in,it could be very harmful in different ways that you
wouldn't even know of.pregnant women need to stay away from the cat box, because of the different things that go on with that
stuff the cats do and the cat liter mix up together, you know the bad smell, that comes out of the box.you also have to stay away from painting, others that are painting,or redoing anything, that has
bad and strong chemicals and smells.you are to stay away from hot tubs, horse back riding, riding a bike, being on a motorcycle,
other things that have to do with things like that, because it can do harm, like with the cord and other things like that.that has to
do with you and the baby.don't be moving big items around like
any kind of kitchen items, bedroom stuff,or livingroom stuff, for it's all to heavy and big anyways for you to move it could press hard on the belly,or you could slip and you could drop the item and fall on it or you could fall backwards and it could fall on top of you.and we all know that wouldn't be good, and we all wouldn't want to see it happen.anyways there is alot of don'ts when your pregnant,so talk with your doc,get one of those books what to expect, while your expecting, and there's another one done by the same person for when you come home and all the things you may want to know after you come or even if you have a question it may have the answer in it for you.not sure if they still do it or not
but before you get to go home with your new little one or little ones, they'll show you how to bath the baby, take care of the belly button area, and they also give you a care package,it should have formula, diapers,a movie, and a few other things, and the movie is kind of a good thing for first time moms, and dads.or even if you've haven't done it for a long time, for some will have a baby, and wait years down the line for another,or it could be a surprise, and it's good for first time grandparnets as well.the books are good also, the book is also good if you are the one having the baby and it's your first and your mother's first grandbaby, and she plans to be a big part from the begain to the end,she may want to read it as well as you.my mother and i had our on books even if they were the same.so good luck..
