when i play it, i don't stop playing until i beaten the game. though some people even after they beat the game spend about 100 some odd hours total on the game, or even more some play it non-stop all day and night then go on into the nxt day.

it depens on what u like on the game some parts are not good so i stoped playing so i say it depens on what part u like

The reason you get addicted to the Sims is because you can't beat the game. I've been playing Sims since 1999. Now I'm playing Sims 2 and continue to buy every expansion pack released.

Beat the game? You don't beat the sims, it's simulation of life and death.

And yes I get addicted to it for a lot of hours at once.

Oh yeah. That game is really addictive. I haven't even gotten the game and I'm obssed with it. 100+ hours is really impressive. It must be a awsome game.

depending on what sims u own.. if you own sims1 then NEVER Buy Sims 2.... the 2 is 2x additcive\cooler\funner!
also never buy sims 2 :pets (thats like 5million times more addictive)!

and what made me love it is the cheat "kaching" 1grand is funded 2 u

ask my bestfriend. she doesnt spend time with me because she's too busy creating our future families...yes. you know you're addicted when you start calling a video game representation of yourself by your own name and refer to it during regular conversation.

i became so addicted to the sims once that my mom stole all my sims cd's and hid them so that i couldn't play anymore :(
