If you are trying to become pregnant, using prenatal vitamins are the trick. They will give your body all that it will need to prepare your body for a healthy pregnancy. Also the vitamins help promote great hair and nails. Those are the only reasons I know of, good luck

If you are trying to get pregnant or if you are breastfeeding you need the same nutrients in similar doses. Prenatal Vitamins are also Multi-Vitamins that should provide nutrition in any circumstance.

They make your hair and nails healthier as the baby normally drains a lot of nutriens from your system and these two things suffer the most.

It's good to help your hair and nails grow, plus it is good for healthy skin. Also, it's a good idea anyways to always take folic acid, just in case you get pregnant on accident. I know of someone who didn't know she was pregnant until it was too late, she didn't take folic acid for the first few months of pregnancy and her son was born with spina bifida.
