try to be around people as much as you can, and always be doing something, such as watching a good show on TV. Don't sit and read a book though, because that can be depressing. And when you watch TV, make sure it's something happy. Also, don't go to sleep too late.

It sounds like you are waiting for the hammer to fall. Did you have some unexpected bonus happen and it felt undeserved. Some people, me, have a family of origin that lets no good deed go unpunished. If this is what your family is like and you have moved out as recently as a year or two ago then you are still waiting for the metaphorical slap.
Take another look at the "good things" you have been talking about and see if there was any reason why you feel it shouldn't have happened to you. Then look at that reason, why you feel it shouldn't have happened to you, and if those feelings are rational.
Your family gave you a model for living your life, but it doesn't have to be the one you take to your grave. In the future look at the things that are upsetting you and spend a minute trying to figure out why.
I say you are changing faster than you know. You are in unfamiliar territory with new changes. Just take it easy.

you may unintentionally feel safer with the feelings of unhappiness and worry, because if things dont last or something goes wrong, you have allready built a emotional brickwall to safegaurd your feelings.its a basic safetynet in most people.i look at life with the attitude that good and bad things do not last for ever, enjoy the good while u can and make the most of it and "if" bad comes along u will look at the blessings u have had,and not think, well what have i done to deserve this my lifes never been great.simply because u will not let it be.if it comes your way and u like it TAKE it it is for you.regardless of what u think or dont think you deserve.

Volunteer at a local Elementary school. Trust me, kids
will lift you up out of your rut and they have plenty of hugs and
smiles to go around. Just helping someone does wonders for your spirit. Especially when the "thank-yous" are from the heart. Makes you feel needed and that is always
a great feeling.

Find an activity that you really enjoy and can get passionate about, either that or get checked out for depression if it's been going on consistently for a while.

Yes, think about what your thinking. Then appreciate all that you do have. Down to the clean sheets on your bed.
