Let me answer your question correctly.

The phone is a "tri-mode" device. In layman's terms, it means that it works in digital (cd quality), pcs (data capable transmission & reception), and analog (rural areas).

Most Verizon phones now are dual mode mean digital & pcs areas. If you need places of remote areas or analog coverage (very few places out there now), then a tri-mode is what is required.

I like to say out "in the sticks", the woods, or the desert in sparely populated areas in where analog is usually the overlap.

As far as the V325, it is a camera phone (1.3 megapixel), navigation (in data areas only) like onstar except upon a phone or GPS device with turn by turn audible instructions & mapping, speaker phone, voice activated dialing, with Get It Now (real-time downloads of games & tones).

You can find more upon Verizon's website. I will include the link for easy navigation.

Just type the address below, select the link for troubleshooting. Another page will appear asking in a drop down window for the manufacturer. Choose Motorola. From there another page will appear with the pictures of all Motorola's phones with Verizon. Click upon the V325 and all the specs will be there.

I'm not sure but from the looks of it, no, it looks like it's dual band. If I'm right, this is a phone that can only be used in North America.

No it is not a Triband phone, it is a dual band.
