Try to factorise number 319.
It is 11 * 29
So you have 11 rows 29 people per row
or 29 rows with 11 people per row.

If you wonder how to find it it is simple
Try to divide 319 with prime numbers

2,3,5,7,11,13,17

Only 11 is ok!

Find a numbr that 319 is divisible by. 11 works 11x29 equals 319 so there could be 11 rows with 29 people in each or 29 rows with 11 people in each

There are twenty nine rows of 11 people. All you have to do is think of what to numbers multiplied together equal 9 the end number of 319 it couldn't be 3 times 3 no even solution so 1 times 9 thus 11 times 29. did it in my head sorry it took so long.

319= 11*29
Therefore there were 11 rows each holdig 29 persons ot there were 29 rows each holding 11 persons. The first option seems more likely.

It is certainly more likely than 319 rows each holding 1 person!

319=29*11

I'd say either 29 rows of 11, or 11 rows of 29. I personally am inclined to say the former, though the latter is possible.

How many ways can you factor 319? Take square root to get size of maximum prime number = 17.8

Now try all primes up to 17:

11*29 both are prime: that's all folks.
