It is realllllllllly strange, first of all is this normal???? Probably not but has anyone else experienced this? Second, they hurt really bad and I wake up freaking out because I know my uterus is contracting and my lower back starts to have a dull ache. Could these orgasms POSSIBLY cause a miscarriage? I have about one of these dreams a day!!!

If you are really worried about it, call your doctor immediately. I mean, if you are willing to ask strangers, you should definitely feel comfortable to talk to your doctor. He or she would have experience and knowledge about this stuff, so they can help you.

Women tend to have some cramping during an orgasm when pg. I did with both. That said, unless there is something wrong, developmentally, I think that you should be fine. Orgasmic cramping is just a normal part of early pg b/c your body isn't used to everything yet. I think I've heard that it generally does lesson as the pregnancy goes on. Good luck! I'm sure everything is fine!

Ignore the orgasms shouldn't hurt remarks, sometimes during pg you do have crampy O's, it just happens and it happens to different women. Everyone won't go through it, but then each pg is different. If you would feel better about it, go ahead and tell your doc.

It is totally normal during pregnancy, and nothing to be embarrased about. First off, you're horomones are raging now...for some this causes more sex drive/sexual dreams, and for some this causes a lack thereof. Personally I had dreams like this in the first trimester and had quite a drive, but by the third trimester that's pretty much gone (blame it on the big belly :)
The contractions you are having aren't the same as the ones that you'll have during labor and delivery. If anything, they're probably rocking your baby alittle bit. The crampy and achiness is totally normal too. I would call your dr. just to let him or her know that you're experiencing this, but I'm betting they'll tell you it's fine. Think of all the stuff going on in that area....it's no wonder you'd feel discomfort after that!

orgasms don't hurt, it is something else, you need to talk to your doctor. It may be a contraction, which is similar because it affects your uterus, but a contraction HURTS...and an orgasm doesn't.

During my first pregnancy I had no idea what a contraction felt like and one night I thought I was sick, I sat there by the toilet thinking I was going to vomit or either have the shiats...but neither happened, turns out I was having contractions, they come and go. If you wake up and you are still having pains intermittently then it is probably contractions.

It is normal, and there is no way that they could cause a miscarriage. Orgasms can be a lot stronger when you are pregnant. If you are worried, call your doctor though (and don't be embarrassed!)

I wouldn't worry too much. Everytime I had an orgasm with my second pregnancy I got cramps and the baby would start to move. I was concerned but they would go away and my doctor said it was normal. It's just from your uterus contracting but not enough to cause damage or labor. Enjoy those dreams while you can. LOL!

Rough sex does not cause miscarriages (unless you're including objects such as coathangers in your definition of rough... j/k). It does not matter how many months along the pregnancy is. It is important to be educated about pregnancy. Continue regular follow-ups with your doctor. And pick up the book "What to Expect When You're Expecting", it's a pregnancy must have. Congratulations.

well first of all a orgasm should not hurt. I would suggest talking to your doctor. This could be serious. If it is an orgasm then you should be ok. But orgasms should not hurt. I would think something is wrong.

I had this happen while I was pregnant also, but it was during the 3rd trimester and it didn't happen that often. They only seemed to hurt me when I had to go pee really badly, (which was pretty much always). It seems pretty normal to me and it shouldn't hurt the baby, it didn't hurt mine!

And don't let the rude answers get to you. They don't have a clue!

Yes, it is not that normal but I think the best advise is to ask the doc. because it is ok to have sex and orgasms ( if you are not high-risk) I don't think it is a problem...( lucky..lol:).. but you might want to ask

Good Luck
