When you are on birth control you may experience "spotting" which is a little break through bleeding.. like 2-3 drops per tampon/pad. This is NOTHING to be worried about. If you are using your birth control correctly than I highly doubt that you are pregnant. If you want to make sure, just to put your mind at ease.. take an at home pregnancy test.

1. Non period bleeding is called spotting.
2. Probably because your body is still adjusting to the pill. It's normal to have spotting for the first three months of taking the birth control pill. You could also have had rough sex, have a friable (soft) cervix... the causes for spotting are many. If it's not heavy or long-lasting you don't need to worry about it.
3. If you are taking your pill properly (same time every day, not throwing up immediately afterwards) you should not be pregnant. Your period arrived on time. Unfortunately I have no way of determining if this is the case. I suspect you are concerned that this spotting is implantation bleeding, but there's no reason to think that. Take a pregnancy test if you are concerned.

The "spotting" could just be a result of your body trying to adjust to the medicine. If you have had sex, it possibly could be an aggravated area or a small cut. I wouldn't freak out! It may take a few months for your body to adjust to the medicine and for ur periods to be regular. If you feel that u are pregnant, just take a test. The mornin time is the best time for you to take a test. Just as a tip- if you are taking birth control and your partner is wearing a condom.... This SIGNIFICANTLY reduces your risk of becoming pregnant or infected with an STD.

light spotting or bleeding is very common in young girls (or women in general) when they start birth control for the first time. Your body is adjusting to seeming new. I dont think you could be pregnant if you were taking them correctly. but the most important thing here is to go see the Dr. who prescribed you the birth control and get checked. there can be any number of reasons for your bleeding.

Well Honey: I'm telling you to get thee to a doctor, right away. I highly doubt that your PG although if you mess up and slipped a day by ? do not, I repeat, do not, take the pregnancy test yourself and count on it. If you were a married woman, it would be different. The PG test is only about 98% accurate, if you know what your doing.
