WWJD - Liberals on here ALWAYS say Jesus is a liberal - what would Jesus think/ do about these:

1. Abortion

2. Gay marriage (our heavenly Father made Eve for Adam - not Steve)

3. Lying and Adultery

YES - he would FORGIVE - but would he approve?

I'm a Republican... The majority of the Democrats are morally wrong, and are all for that stuff.... Its almost like a sickness... They whine and stomp their feet about our soldiers being over in Iraq, fighting for our Country, and then they whine and stomp their feet for gay rights, etc.....Does that make sense..... Scary bunch of people, huh...

Jesus would be forgiving and accepting. He spent most of his time teaching the sinners, not the righteous. His feelings on the issues you mention are that they are sins, but we should love the sinner and try to lead him down the path to righteousness, not force them down it. These issues are morally wrong, but so are things like not helping the poor and judging people.

Neither party has a stranglehold on morality. Democrats tend to follow the "love thy neighbor" part of the Bible, while Republicans tend to follow the strict tenets and laws of the Old Testament.

"And they'll know we are Christians by our love", not our hatred...

Sodom and Gomorrah were Old Testament vengeance, not "The Way" Jesus taught us.

As for political party, neither deserves my allegiance. I am Independent.

Jesus would hardly approve of the hateful language many of the conservative Christians often use towards liberals. And vice versa.

He would have many 'suggestions' for both sides.

I'm a Democrat.

I am a republican and I truly believe that Jesus is not worried about our politics!!!!! But the issues that you bring up that represents the democratic party are wrong!!!! I feel that we should hate the sin, not the sinner!!!

Jesus would not be a part of any political party, He was here to save souls!!!!

Jesus had nothing to say about Abortion or homosexuality. Both Democrats and Republicans have been known to lie and cheat. All people are sinners in one way or another.

Did you know Abortion is never even mentioned in the Holy Bible? Neither was gay marriage. So if God didn't worry about either of them, why should you? The reason you do worry about them is that you are being conned and misled by looters who want your vote so they can continue looting the treasury--stealing your tax money. They don't care about morality, if they did, they wouldn't be forcing a war thats killed thousands of innocent people. And behold, with America insolvent, we pay huge interest payments to Communist China, and they use your tax money to pay for MILLIONS OF ABORTIONS. So congratulations. Think things thru.

Jesus wasn't a fan of government. Read your Bible; it's painfully obvious.

If you really want a religious leader to dictate your national policy, allow me to suggest relocating to Saudi Arabia or Iran. I hear it's morally correct over there; just look at how they treat their women.
But hey, there's no abortion or gay marriage.

Since I'm Jewish, maybe I shouldn't answer this question, but I like putting my 2 cents in. I don't know of any Abrahamic religion that is in favor of abortion, homosexuality, adultery or lying.
I'm not saying that abortion is murder, in my opinion that is true if & only if the fetus is potentially viable outside the womb.
Homosexuality is no worse than eating pork.
Adultry is worse than homosexuality, as it is in the 10 commandments, homosexuality isn't.
lying is esp bad if it involves lying AGAINST someone (see the 10 commandments).

Please cite for me one single verse where Jesus mentions homosexuality.

Now go look for the hundreds of references he makes to helping the poor.

Now take a look into your own politcal party, and ask why they are so bent on hating gays and so against helping the poor.

Those are problems of both parties. Don't forget pedophiles.

To answer your question, however, Jesus would love them. That is what he did in his day, that is what he would do now.
