Sorry, it was Mike Bassett, England manager, played by Rocky Tomlinson. Mike Walker fits on the managing side but not on the playing side having been with 5 clubs and not Doncaster, Crewe or Plymouth. It wasn't one of my questions but was pinched from footballsite.co.uk - there quiz question range from the easy to the rack-your-brains-out.

Mike Walker who else? well buddy that was a good one but i think i nailed it.
I think the progress was as player Reading/ Shrewsbury/ York/ Watford/ Charlton/Colchester..... /Appointed assistant manager at Colchester after retiring as player. / Appointed Norwich manager./Welsh national team managers' position.
