I hate to admit this but I will anyway. Upon meeting my brothers new wife for the first time in the company of my entire family in my sisters living room. We were all chatting away and I was trying to make pleasant conversation with my brothers wife. It was going all very nicely as we chatted about this and that. Then........... I don't remember how the subject got around to this, but I blurted out " oh that's right I forgot you are a "MORON" She was of the Mormon faith, and I knew this. I could of fallen through a hole in the ground quite happily and never appear again. It was a slip of the tongue on my part. At first everyone just sat there in silence with dumbfounded looks on their faces, as I struggled desperately to apologise and explain to this poor woman, that, that is not what I meant to say. All of a sudden she burst out laughing and everyone in the room then proceeded to follow. PHEW! Thank goodness she was an understanding person and she knew I had not meant to say that. It turns out she is a lovely woman and I love her to bits. The family takes great joy of reminding me of t his dreadful incident to this day! In a joking sort of way of course and we still laugh about it to this day.

P.S Mormons please don't take offense no offense intended.

I've made catty remarks in a "whisper" that was totally too loud, and then felt bad because the person I said it about ended up being really nice.
That's about it........

Well, Not me, but my co-worker told her friend that she didn't seem like the kind of person who watched OPB and the friend interpreted that as she wasn't smart enough to watch public broadcasting. I got to watch and laugh at this one.
