In my house I have many windows. One looks in my garden, another looks towards the North. There is an east window and there is a west. One faces the neighbours junk pile another the neighbour's friendly front door. The biggest window faces South and it is that with the most beautiful view.... Through that window I often see how life changes with the passing of each day.
Through that window I see deep purple sunsets and skies and waters clear and blue. I also see the weather's changes, I see the dark clouds and thundering storms. Those windows of my house plus the ones I have constantly open in my mind and soul allow me to view and live life to its potential fullness. So you see....I don't have to "remember" life because everyday I live life.
Oh, yes... I forgot to mention one small window
that which I switch-on whenever I feel like bringing some light from the rest of the world. It's that window that you call "internet'. Yes, I can imagine my life without it even though I truly enjoy having this window open. It is the only witndow in the house, you see, that although it shines on a part of my life the real, fresh air the other windows bring is much fresher and clean.

I go back to the days of punch card FORTRAN and Basic programming and have been actively (i.e. without a single day of being absent from) using the Internet for the past 22 years now. We are talking back when you had to type a 5-line command for an address to send an e-mail to someone overseas. We are talking days when hackers were but twinkles in their parents eyes. We are talking pre-Amazon, Pre-Yahoo years of the Internet dinosaur era. ... And I still don't get any freakin' respect from the Oracle around here! :-)

Yes, I can remember life before the internet. Our family also went several years without access to the internet. We managed just fine, but it sure is more convenient for a lot of things, especially our kids' homework. It also relieves boredom and "cabin-fever" for this stay-at-home mom!!!!!!

No.

It makes decision making so much more fun and easier.

Just surf, found what you want, where you can get it at the best price and go get it.

Homework is a breeze. Sadly though children do not know how to book study any more.

Love it!
