Have you ever been falsely accused of something serious? What was it? How did it turn out?

In 1972, on my 21st birthday I had to walk guard duty with some
nut who later pulled the M-16 on me loaded saying he was going to shoot me to go home sooner. When he found out it was my birthday he took off and shot the lock off the Mess Hall door and
was cooking some Steaks when they found him. They tried to
Court Martial me for giving him the 10 rounds but a guy named Fuji came in CO's office and told how he gave the rounds to the
Nutcase and he wouldn't give them back.

i was accused of welfare fraud when i was pregnant.
my doctor had me on restricted care because it was high risk pregnancy. no work.
the welfare dept. couldn't find the note the doc wrote for me and accused me of getting 4 months worth of welfare illegally.
i appealed and there was a hearing set up. the day of the hearing i went to the welfare dept. and the receptionist told me i could go back home because they found the note.
well i didn't have to pay back what they said and the charges were dropped. i was so pissed all this time trying to figure out what i was going to do because of their screw up.
by the way there was also no apology.
anyway i had a beautiful baby girl. that makes any anger go away. lol.

I was falsely accused of many things after my divorce, all of them which were untrue. The rumors and repercussions were horrible and I lost my business. Then I moved and said bite off to the whole town. And I've never regretted it.

Oh hell yeah me and my boyfreind both have of the same thing just last week actually.Someone in his family that does not like me(they are hispanice and they don't like me cause I am white)called cps and said that we were abuseing his 3 boys ages6,4and3 and that we was using drugs.The charges were unfounded so nothing happened except whoever reported it lost their credibility.
