Sounds very like you're developing Bell's palsy - go to your doctor or ER asap and get put on steroids, it's the best way to try and stop it developing.
Bell's Palsy is paralysis of the muscles on one side of the face, usually the first symptoms are exactly what you've described, numbness and twitching.
GO GET HELP NOW or you'll be dealing with this for a long time.

It sounds like you have "Bells Palsy" which I had a few years ago. It is something to do with a nerve that is on that side of your face. You do need to see a Doctor about this because if it is not treated, that side of your face that is numb will get worse. Then you won't be able to speak properly,or drink from a cup.

Bells Palsy sounds likely but there are other conditions that can cause similar symptoms.
I don't know if you are suffering any pain in any other areas of your head/face other than the part which is numb, but I suffer from trigeminal neuralgia which is very very painful (but can vary in degrees of pain) but also makes parts of my face numb and causes a twitch to appear under my eye from time to time. It's not easy to diagnose or treat.
Whatever your take on this you really need to get yourself to the doctors asap. Good luck :-)

It sounds like Bell's Palsy, a harmless condition where one side of the face goes into a partial distortion. It often mimics the effects of a stroke, and looks terrible, but goes away without any lasting effects. It does sometimes hang on for quite a while though. But see your doctor to make sure. It could be just a pinched nerve or something simple and transient.

you def should go to the doctor because it can also be an (heart) attaque.
you hear all the time that when ppl get attaques their faces go numb and even sort of jelly in a way that it just falls down.
It won't come off but you cheek for example can get to be on your chin.
It'll go back to his original spot but still...

Visit the doctor when you can - as soon as you can I mean. It could be an irritated nerve, bells palsy, or something neurological. Could also be neuralgia, which affects the gums but parts of the face could be affected. All are well treatable but do go and get diagnosed so you can get the proper treatment. Good luck.

It could be anything, but the important thing is you must go to the doctor.
The sooner you receive help the better your recovery from the cause.
If you have other symptons like nausea headaches or increasing numbness then I would advice you go to Casualty now.

Have you been sleeping in a draught? It could be a condition known as Bell's Palsy which is a temporary condition. I remember my friend had it once, either way see a doctor asap.
