In college, I've seen many laws in math and science. I do not recall hearing of a "Law of Probability." The realm of probability has its own set of laws, and perhaps when a lay person uses that phrase, he means "by virtue of probability alone."

One example of the phrase being used is, "The Law of Probability makes the Big Bang an impossible event." I suspect the speaker is speaking on behalf of ignorance, since I'm not aware of this Law of Probability, but I thought I'd check with others before utterly dismissing it.

You are correct, there is no such thing as "The Law of Probability". However, you could, if pressed by someone, quote it as "Nothing is Always and Everything is Sometimes".
