They ask a question..You take the time to answer seriously...And..you never hear from them again...They don't pick the best answer and leave it to the voter's...I realize some are not sure, but, at least go back in and say that..I've got some, weeks old and are chalked up to a waste of my time...How do you feel?...This cost me point's, so, I mean it!!!!..10 point's to best answer/solution...Yukoneze

I totally feel the same way! That's why I never put my questions to a vote. I always pick an answer myself. Besides, whenever questions are put to a vote, you can tell people just go through and vote for the first answer. And the first answer is usually the shortest answer, and not someone who put much thought into the answer. (I'm not insulting the answer above me, btw! I mean that a lot of times the first answer is 'yes' or 'no' which is not very helpful.) Maybe my answers are a bit long, but I'm just trying to put some thought into it!

I understand your frustration. It does happen like that sometimes around here, but not always. I've only asked two questions but I chose best answer. I didn't let it go to a vote. I would only let a question go to voting if I couldn't decide between the answers & yes, I would add details to let the answerers know.
It's also okay though to let some questions go anyway, and that also helps the other players by letting them read & gain points by voting, so it isn't really useless.
It's not really a waste of time, this is a place to interact & have fun. I don't know how to explain better than that. I'm sorry.

When I first started doing this , I let the first couple questions I asked go to the voters because I didn't know any better. Since then, I always pick the best answer (in my opinion) to my questions..

There is no solution. Some people just don't care to read every answer. I don't know, I've never asked a question on here before.

I know-it's really irritating. I always wonder if they check the answers, get what they want out of them and then just leave it. It only takes a couple of clicks to choose a best answer-its not that hard-they could show a little thanks for other people's effort!

sometimes there are no good answers so they don't pick one. they might be new user's who aren't into the whole Y/A thing yet. either way u still got 2 pts for your effort
