It is normal to have a brownish discharge after your period. What's happening is that there was still some blood left inside you and by the time that it worked it's way out it turned brown from being old or not fresh. This is why they make panty liners for us women. Do not worry at all what is happening is perfectly normal. However if you are really worried about it and you can't stop thinking about it then I suggest that you go see your doctor just to ease the worries.
Good Luck To You :)

i have had the same problem to. i had my period in early november (about 5-7 days), the very last day ending my period (no blood at all) i had unprotected sex with my boyfriend (he is infertile) than about a week later i felt something coming out of my vagina so i went to the bathroom and it was blood, i didnt know what to think of it, i just thought my period came back again so i put a tampon in and check on it later and there wasnt red blood coming out it was just small amounts of brown discharge. its been going on for a couple days and i also have pain in my the area of my left ovary. can someone please tell me what is wrong?

It's more than likely old blood from your last period, that's turned brown. Blood has hemoglobin in it that makes it like to stick together and to things. Masturbating and having an orgasm at the end of your period causes uterun contractions that help break up and dislodge the old lining of the uterus. If it bothers you that much you could give that a try.

this is probably your era, because of the fact the common age to your first era is around 12-13 years previous. you're somewhat over-de yet thats ok. previously each and every thing it does look only like that coloration even though this is going to possibly loosen up. in case you dont have it continueously (each and on a daily basis) its not a era.

spotting is pretty normal, although annoying. If it's heavy and doesn't clear up, ask your doctor! i think all the girlies I've known get spotting from time to time.
Also, it could be from a ton of stress. I've had my period now for two weeks and wasn't due for it until today... from extreme stress.

it's just old tissue that wasn't expelled during your earlier period, sometimes called breakthru, tho it really isn't. No sweat, don't let it worry you.
