I had a problem with my period a long time ago. I had my period for like 3 weeks, so i went to the doctor. My doctor told me that it was because my hormones were messed up. He put me on birth control and it regulated my period. Ever since then, I have approximately a 4 day period every month. Also, I don't cramp as bad since i am on birth control.

I'm not sure what you mean. If you mean your period comes once every month and a half, that's probably ok, if you're young. If you mean that your period LASTS for a month and a half, then you should go see a doctor. You might be anaemic, or it might be some other condition. Don't worry, just go see a doctor.

Yes it sounds like a hormonal imbalance. Easily corrected if you get a saliva test and see what's missing. You can take an online test and see what might be out of balance.

Well yes, bleeding that long has probably caused a pretty severe anemia, and a likely cause would be endometriosis...time to see a gynecologist and get it taken care of for sure.

You had better go see your doctor. It is not normal for you to bleed that long. It could be causing an iron depleation....go to your doctor as soon as possible...
Good Luck :)
