8 nickels = .40
2 dimes = .20

50 coin = 1.00

Another answer that uses all the coins you specified:
45 pennies = .45
2 nickels = .10
2 dimes = .20
1 quarter = .25

50 coins = 1.00

I think it might not be able to be done.
Something about nickels and quarters rounding out in 5 s.
